OUR STORY
Nyoro is a social enterprise born out of a pure passion to create a community with the goal of achieving a better living for all beings in a sustainable way.

Indian handicrafts have always drawn inspiration from nature and the surrounding environment, and Mother Earth has always been an important part of it. At Nyoro we cherish and preserve India's rich heritage of traditional crafts by supporting and honouring rural artisan communities.
All our fabrics are plant based and are dyed and printed/embroidered by the artisans from India.
PRODUCTION
The fabric is then cut and sewn and our designs are brought to life by our Pattern Master and Tailor Nurani Ji in our workshop based in Pune, and a small batch of products are assembled.
At NYORO we acknowledge the effort that the people working behind our brand make, and we believe in ethical treatment for all our employees. Therefore, we embrace ethical labor by paying fair wages, decreasing the speed of production and consumption and providing a safe working environment for our labourers.
FOUNDERS NOTE
Vaishnavi Dhumal
My journey toward Sustainable fashion started when I saw the documentary "The True Cost" in 2017. The documentary changed my view on the fast-fashion industry, and I decided that when I would start a brand of my own, I would make sure it is Sustainable, Ethical, and Slow fashion. Indian Handicrafts always intrigued me during the years I spent in NIFT. Accumulating my interest and love for Indian Handicrafts, Nyoro is my contribution toward a better livelihood for the Artisans and Sustaining the environment.
